Lindsay Lohan admitted to UK newspaper The Sun that she owns 5,000 pairs of shoes. The Mean Girls star confessed she has become “addicted to footwear.� Lindsay, 20, said:

“I own 5,000 pairs of shoes. It’s mad. “I do love fashion. Stella McCartney is great, she sends me loads of free stuff.� The US star also told Elle magazine she plans to perform for troops in Iraq next August - and she may learn to handle a gun. She added: “I’m not afraid of going.�

You gotta love a reporter that makes a smooth transition from Lindsay Lohan owning 5,000 pairs of shoes to her visiting a violent war torn country on the brink of civil war….
